Delhi - Agra - Jaipur
Package Overview:
Day 1:Delhi Arrival
Arrive at Delhi Airport / Railway station - The Capital of India & be transferred to hotel. After refreshment at hotel, proceed for City Tour of Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Lotus Temple , Humayun's Tomb, and India Gate. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place shopping area, etc. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 2:Delhi
After early breakfast, proceed for the Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana -the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Later proceed for the latest tourist attraction in Delhi -The famous Akshardham Temple spread over a swooping 30 acres on the bank of the river Yamuna. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Note: Exhibition and Boat Ride is a worth and watch. Charge aprx Rs.125 (at your own cost) at Akshardham Temple.
Day 3:Delhi - Agra [210 Kms / 05 Hrs]
After early breakfast, drive to the Mughal city Agra. Arrive at Agra and check in at your hotel. After short rest proceed for Tour of Agra City which include the famous Taj Mahal - the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Agra fort - built by the great Emperor Akbar. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 4:Agra - Jaipur Via Fatehpur Sikri [260 Kms / 06 Hrs]
After early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Jaipur also popularly known as the Pink City, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted, red Sandstone City built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th Century. Arrive at Jaipur and check in at your hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure for Shopping at local market for Jaipur handicrafts & other items. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 5:Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed for the tour of Amber Fort, the Old capital of Jaipur Rulers. Ride on the back of an elephant - at your own cost, from the foot of the hill up to the gates of the fortress. Return in the afternoon. After lunch, proceed for City Tour which includes City Palace - The Maharaja's museum, Jai Singh's Astronomical Observatory also known as Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Later in the evening can visit at approximately at 6 pm Chokh Ki Dhani Resort (on your own cost) - An ethnic Rajasthani resort to dine with cultural folk dances & music. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 6:Jaipur Departure
After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur Railway station / Airport to board return train / flight back to home destination. |
