Munnar - Thekkady - Kumarakom - Cochin

Day 1:Cochin Arrival - Munnar [130 Kms / 04 Hrs]
Arrive at Cochin Airport / Railway station and be transferred to Munnar by surface - a beautiful hill station situated at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. Arrive Munnar & check in your hotel. Munnar offers spectacular Views of the Craggy Peaks , Manicured Tea Estates, Picturesque towns and Winding Lanes. Its beauty is further enhanced by great black roads that thrust upwards suddenly from amidst the thick vegetation. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 2:Munnar
After breakfast, proceed for a full day City tour of Munnar, covering the Top Station, Muattuputty Dam (where you can enjoy boating at your own cost), the Echo point & Tata Tea Estates around Munnar. In the afternoon after lunch proceed for the latter part of your excursion which includes Raj Malai Wildlife - famous for the sightseeing of the Nilgiri Thar, an endangered species of wild goat. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3:Munnar - Thekkady [110 Kms / 3 Hrs]
After breakfast, depart for Thekkady. Arrive at Thekkady and check in your hotel. Thekkady is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries of the country and a dream destination. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing which includes visit to Tea- Cardamom plantation, Spice Garden and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - a Tiger reserve by boat. The greatest attraction of Periyar remains the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lake's edge. Late evening, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 4:Thekkady - Kumarakom [140 Kms / 4.5 Hrs]
After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Kumarakom by surface which is also known as The Venice of the East. This beautiful backwater spot slumbers by the Vembanad Lake. The scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of breath taking greens and deep blues. Arrive Kumarakom & check in to the hotel. Later proceed on a boat cruise on the backwaters (at your own). As the boat glides along the backwaters, the gorgeous green of the fringed palm ripples into the blue waters and blends into wavelets. You can also avail of the famous Kerala Ayurvedic massage at the hotel (at your own cost). Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 5:Kumarakom to Cochin [90 Kms / 2.5 Hrs]
After breakfast, check out from your hotel & proceed to Cochin. Arrives at Cochin & check in the hotel. After lunch, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Cochin which covers important sight such as Jewish Synorgue, Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort of Cochin, Museum, etc. Rest of the day is free for shopping at M.G Road - Ernakulam. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Ernakulam.
Day 6:Cochin Departure
After breakfast, day is free till departure to Cochin Airport / Railway station to board flight / train back to home destination.
